Car Rental in Islamabad and Across Pakistan, With or Without a Driver
Take the keys and drive it yourself, or take a driver who knows the route. Both are available on the same fleet, and a phone number that answers comes with either.
Car Rental FAQs
Yes — self-drive is fully available across the fleet. You will need a valid licence, CNIC or passport, and a security deposit, and the daily rate is lower than the same car with a driver. Tell us which you want and we will quote both so you can compare.
Every quote says which of the two it is for, because the rates differ. On a chauffeur-driven booking what varies is the fuel policy and whether the driver's meals and overnight accommodation are included on multi-day trips outside the city; on self-drive it is the fuel policy, the deposit and the mileage allowance. All of it is stated in writing rather than left to be settled on the road.
For the Karakoram Highway to Hunza a good sedan is usually adequate in season, but for Skardu, Deosai or anything off the main highway a Revo or a Prado is the sensible choice, and in winter it is not really optional. We would rather tell you that before you book than have you discover it on a mountain road.
In Pakistan, yes — airport transfers at either end, and onward travel to your departure city. Inside Saudi Arabia transport is arranged separately as part of the Umrah package itself, with Makkah and Madinah transfers and ziyarat covered there.
A day or two is usually enough for a city car or an airport pickup. Wedding season and the summer window for the northern areas are the exceptions — presentation vehicles and the larger SUVs go early, and in June and July the good Prados are often committed weeks ahead.
