UK Visa from Pakistan
The UK receives a very large volume of visit applications from Pakistan, and the standard of evidence expected reflects that.
UK visit visas are decided on the balance of probabilities by an entry clearance officer who will never meet you. Everything therefore rests on the written file: that you have a genuine reason to visit, that the trip is funded, and that your circumstances in Pakistan give you reason to return.
Applications are submitted online, with supporting documents uploaded or presented at a VFS Global application centre where you also give biometrics. The UK does not require you to submit your passport at the point of application in every case, but it will be needed for the visa to be issued.
The most common refusal grounds we see are financial: statements that show a large unexplained deposit shortly before applying, income that does not reconcile with tax records, or a sponsor whose stated support is not backed by their own documentation. These are addressable — but only before submission, not after a refusal.
