Beyond the Haramain, Saudi Arabia has opened to leisure travel — and AlUla in particular is worth the trip.
For most of our clients Saudi Arabia means Makkah and Madinah, and our Umrah packages cover that in full. But the Kingdom's tourist visa has made a genuinely different kind of trip possible alongside the pilgrimage.
AlUla holds Hegra, the Nabataean city that shares its builders with Petra, alongside dramatic desert landscapes and the mirrored Maraya concert hall. Jeddah's Al-Balad historic district has been restored, Riyadh has Diriyah and the Edge of the World escarpment, and the Red Sea coast offers some of the least-dived reefs in the region.
Pilgrims increasingly add two or three nights in Jeddah or AlUla to an Umrah trip, which is straightforward to arrange within the same booking.
