Uzbekistan Tour Packages from Pakistan

The Islamic heritage circuit that draws Pakistani travellers for ziyarat as much as for sightseeing.

Uzbekistan holds a particular significance for travellers from the subcontinent. The shrine of Imam Bukhari outside Samarkand, the resting places of Imam Tirmidhi and Bahauddin Naqshband near Bukhara, and the madrasas of the Registan draw ziyarat-focused groups every season.

The architecture alone would justify the trip. Samarkand's Registan and Shah-i-Zinda, Bukhara's Poi Kalyan complex and Khiva's walled inner city are among the best-preserved Islamic monuments anywhere, and the restoration work has been substantial.

Practicalities are easy: an electronic visa, direct or one-stop flights, halal food everywhere and a level of hospitality towards Pakistani visitors that most travellers comment on afterwards.
