Georgia offers a great deal for the money: a walkable old capital with sulphur baths and cable cars, Black Sea beaches at Batumi, and the Greater Caucasus mountains at Kazbegi within a few hours' drive of Tbilisi.
It has become a popular second leg for travellers already going to Baku, with the overland route between the two capitals well established and the flight short. For those with ten days, a Turkey–Georgia–Azerbaijan itinerary covers a great deal of ground.
